Exactly. If there's one thing that bothers me about CP, it's this weird pro cop/anti cop debate that seems to come up when ever a cop related story is posted. When these threads come up I see lots of posters that are against/skeptical of the actions of the cop in that particular story. Which is usually followed up by accusations of posters being anti-cop.

I have nothing but respect for police officers and the job they do, and have had really good experiences with officers in Calgary. Yet for some reason, on Calgarypuck, I constantly find myself generalized as "the anti police crowd", simply because I reply to police threads where an officer/officers have seemingly acted out of line.

A couple of posters have it exactly right. Certain posters say "Well you never hear the stories where cops acted appropriatly". Well....no, you don't. That's the same with all people/proffessions.......and like one poster said, if posters read stories on Calgarypuck and come to the conclusion that all cops are ######bags, then they're ignorant to begin with.
