I expect he will get a pile of money out of this, as perhaps he should.

However, I don't believe for one second his claim that the cops never identified themselves, or that he blocked the door because he thought they would "beat him up". Sounds like he is trying to justify his own poor decisions that led to this officer's poor decisions.
