I think (in the post-911 era) that we have to show off a bit. Canada has taken a few embarrassing hits on the international stage with regards to terrorists gaining entry, etc. It's important we get the word out that we don't fool around with this stuff anymore.

She's out on bail, so it's not like she's being tortured in a dark hole somewhere.
