I've never had anything close to a phenomenal pizza from Little Caesar's or Domino's and I don't think I've had anything that would be described as really good from Pizza Hut in almost 20 years.

We all have our own experiences, I guess. Like everybody else, I'd rather have a quality pizza with fresh ingredients made from a local joint in order to support them. However, I'm not going to outcast a pizza just because it's from an international chain. Again, I think people, in general, overanalyze things like differences in pizza waaaaay too much. And I don't think their ingredients are as crappy as you're making them out to be. They're standard across the board, yes... but that doesn't mean they have to suck, IMO.
For example - I just recently purchased a very tasty pizza from Pizza 73; the time before that, however, I just about puked from what they made. It was a difference in the stores that made them, considering they were the same pizza. Same ingredients, probably.
