He doesn't seem to crush the WSOP Main Event or the numerous other tournaments that I have seen him lose in. Perhaps I just miss all these mythical games he is "crushing."

Destroyed the WPT? He has one win and is ranked something like 13th. That is destroying the WPT? But to be fair that one win is in 76 tournaments so it isn't like he has had a ton of chances to crush the opposition.
Since when is 7 a super impressive number? There are somewhere around 5-10 guys who have more.

He is still close to a lot of guys currently playing. Tiger Woods is miles ahead of other guys on his list.
Phil Ivey may be the best player in the world right now but there is no way that he comes close to dominating the game the way that Tiger does.
