I use dropbox whenever I'm in a situation like this (stay with me, this is related I promise). Dropbox is a way to have a single folder on all of your computers that is always synced to the others. For instance, I have it set up so I have a single folder on my work computer, my home computer and my parents computer ... any change I make to that folder is reflected on the other two computers.
How does this impact you? Dropbox also makes it very easy to share content. Files and folders can be designated URL's, so if I have a folder of 15 photos that's too large to email, I can zip the folder, put it in my dropbox and then send the url of that folder to a friend or client.

Just a quick note - the video shows him sharing a folder, which is awesome, but your recipient needs to have dropbox as well (which may not be ideal). That's why I zip the file and send it using the url.
