In the toughest cash games (PLO, HU, any form of hold em) he is the biggest money winner in online tracked games and plays in the biggest mixed live games in Vegas. If Ivey is not the best player alive and arguably ever, then who is?
Doyle Brunson, the man is a hustler and con-artist. He and his partners sat in the same games with shared bankrolls and basically cheated stupid rich people out of their money.
Phil Hellmuth, Probably the best NL tournament player ever but has never been able to do anything outside of that.
I would be interested to hear anyone else that you could argue is better.
