Payphone calls could be recorded

If you happen to use a phone booth over the next few weeks, you may see a sticker message you have never seen before.
The sticker offers a warning to anyone using the phone that the number, the time, and the date of the call might be recorded, and the caller could be subpoenaed by police in a criminal investigation.
The idea comes from Alderman John Mar who says he's tired of getting complaints from residents who say dozens of phone booths are regularly used to make drug deals.
