Insurance has become a big issue in the industry in that we are not allowed to "hide" things. If the customer becomes involved in an accident on their way home from the dealership and its proven that the dealer was at fault for not providing a proper mechanical inspection, there's hell to pay. And rightfully so.
Trying doing that in a private deal. Private deals do not have to disclose anything. period. buyer beware.
will yuo pay more at a dealership than a private sale?..maybe. but sometimes that isnt always the case.
I would be more inclined to purchase a vehicle from a dealer rather than a private. just for the peace of mind.
Wow, I'm sold. Seriously... nothing worse than buying a car with no history. Unless you're a gambler... in which case you might as well go to Regal Auctions.
