Default Sorry guys... Another Laptop Thread

I am looking to buy a laptop.

I am going in to university next year and the laptop will be for study and play.

I'm not a big PC gamer but I play Starcraft, Counter Strike Source and will play Starcraft 2. I will want a machine that will play all of these.

I was convinced that I was going to buy this Acer Aspire... because it had what I wanted in terms of RAM and Storage. It has a blu-ray slot, which is completely unnecessary for me in a laptop, but never the less enticing.

The price isn’t the issue. The price is right around what I’m looking for. My range is 1000-1500. Obviously less would be okay too.

Right now it’s the screen size. Would the 18.4 inch screen be too much for me to have at school? I don’t have a PC for myself at home. I just have my family computer that I use, so this would be my main computer. It is about 9 pounds.

Also would the video card included be enough to run my games? I dont know anything about video cards.
Video card is listed on Costco.ca as “Up to 2303 MB (shared) PCI Express™ x 16 NVIDIAŽ GeForce 9300M GS (512 MB on hand)”

And what is this “2 MB L2 cache”? Is it anything I should worry about?

Thanks.

EDIT: What should seperate the laptops from each other... I'm looking at a ton with 4 g's o' ram and 250-320 g's o' storage and other than that i dont really know what i'm looking for...
