Well....Thank God the outcome was a positive one. I doubt that the people who are thinking "ahh, It happens" would even want to acknowlege this story or the NEGLECT, had the child died. It would just be one of those items in the news that you skip over to save yourself the heartache.

Do you keep your children caged? Because otherwise I really don't see how you can possibly prevent every single opportunity of harm.
None of us know the actual facts of this incident, it amy have been negligent parenting or it amy have been an adventurous child who slipped out of the tent and went for a ride. The fact that each is equally plausible based on what we know makes your comments way over the top.
