Yeah, that's right. Lucas basically had that book on hand while he wrote the Star Wars script.

It's an interesting theory in regards to religion, as well. Most of the biblical figures are similarly archetyped in heroes. Likewise, we recycle or renew those same myths, ie. Neo is basically Christ the Messiah in The Matrix.
