IMO he is. I think world wide appeal and record sales show it. When you are 400 Million in debt (which is so ######ed), you must be big if you can pay it off within 2-3 months of dying.

There's no doubt that he had talent. Yet, even though it's somehow a little hypocritical to single out Jackson for his faults and not compare him to other celebrities (I see the point you were trying to make with Cash), Jackson was involved in some pretty shady activity; such as near embezzlement, tax fraud, huge drug addiction and possibly child molestation. He was America's freak show for so long and judging from what I've heard in the media, he probably realized it himself shortly before he died. It would be no surprise if his death turned out to be suicide.
