Might as well get a thread going on it as they're now in the middle of the first mountain stages in the Pyrenees. As someone that used to do loads of cycling and a frequent visitor to France this is one of my favourite viewing events of the year both for the race and the scenary.
Looks like it's going to be between Astana team mates Armstrong and last year's winner Contador. What's good this year is that the last time trial and hardest climb of the race is on the third last and penultimate day as opposed to the race being decided in the mountain with the last 3-4 days often being a formality.
Yeah, I know it's called Le Tour nowadays with excursions outside of France but for me it'll always be the Tour de France.
