I would check/ replace (if needed) / clean the following things in this order:

1. Fuel filter
2. MAF - Mass Air Flow sensor
3. TPS - Throttle Position Sensor
4. Air filter
5. Spark plugs, wires, distributor cap
6. 02 (Oxygen) sensor, upstream, then downstream
7. Catalytic converter
