I can't see anyone wanting to take on a 20 million dollar guy minimum in Halladay and an 18 million dollar albatross. That would be a 40 million dollar budget hit for like 5 more years, which in these times is a pretty sizable monetary commitment. The Jays might take back like a 12 million dollar guy if Wells is in the deal, but still, the number of teams who can afford a contract for Halladay is limited as is. Add another guy like Wells to the equation and it's even less.
