See that's the point I was trying to make.
I'm sure there are a lot of regular groups that march in these things, and they're just there to say "hey being gay is nothing to be ashamed of", and good for them, they're right.

But what most people see is the freak show, which to me ruins the message of the normal folk marching.

As I said before, is the message that you're the same, or that your'e different? Becasue most people get the impression that it is the latter, which I'm sure is the exact opposite of what they are actually trying to get across.
