I never said I wouldn't haggle. In fact, I always tack some onto the price because I know I'm going to get 20 emails and only 2 of them are going to be offering the listed price. I don't mind haggling at all... but don't be ######ed about it. If you see a phone listed for $400 and everyone else is listing for $500... don't call the guy up and ask if he'll take $200 if you pay in cash.
If someone wants to accept a personal cheque from a complete stranger who responded to their add on Kijiji, that's certainly their prerogative. I only take cash, and I don't give discounts for it.
