So what IS the golden rule, may I ask? As a person born and raised in Canada, I think that we negotiate on cars, on line, in person, and at the dealership. Is there some sort of percentage rule? No lower than rule? Only within a certain limit rule? So these guys low balled you, but they are actually following the canadian societies accepted car buying practice, are they not? They are just going too far with it, that's what your saying?
And no offense, but if someone was to sell you a car for half price, you'd pay, right? Or would you not be able to go against our countries policy of no mega barter and pay more?
