I kind of find it hard to belive that the increased tax was causing a major if any drop in business for a restaraunt.
Seriously, the tax was 11 cents for a bottle of beer, 11 cents for a shot of booze and 15 cents for a galss of wine.
Unless the restaraunt tried to increase their prices more than that and use the tax as an excuse, you'd be hard pressed to convince me that those types of increases made any difference to how many people ordered a beer or glass of wine with dinner.
