I was taught in driving school (in Alberta) that if your right turn after a left comes up extremely quick, get to the outside lane.

Is it legal or not to turn into the far lane? I always it was illegal unless signs are posted.
One other question. Who has right of way. The person turning left into a 1 lane road, or a person turning right? If I am turing left and I see someone puts on his blinker to turn left I always go so long as that person put the signal on ahead of time of course. I see a tonne of people who will wait for that person to turn right no matter if the signal is on or not.
