If you are running for Vice President of the United States you should not NEED TO BE BRIEFED. She's not a puppet for handlers to feed her lines. She should know what she is talking about. Do you want a leader that knows nothing except how to run PTA meetings? Who has no real knowledge or even basic comprehension of critical world or events and relevant histories before she makes a decision?
She is an airhead, nothing that comes out of her mouth ever makes any sense. She has no real knowledge, only talking points that are prepared for her and when she tries to make sense of them or she has to actually explain them in some way, she gets absolutely lost and confused and rambles around trying to get back to her prepared talking points because she has absolutely no idea where she is and has no opinion on things that she has no understanding of aside from what her 'you betcha' gut tells her.
I am not running for Vice President of the United States and I know what the Bush Doctrine is. This woman clearly had no idea what the term doctrine in presidential terms means (Monroe Doctrine, Truman Doctrine, Kennedy Doctrine, etc). She had utterly no idea what the word even meant. I am not running for Vice President of the United States and I could easily give you a concise and clear answer as to what I think of the bailout instead of rambling about some healthcare umbrella nonsense with job creation and Iraq.
It's not even down to inexperience. This woman is 45 years old and up to this point, it's clear she had no previous base knowledge of global politics, economics, etc. or had even thought about them or even read a newspaper or magazine or journal often enough to really know anything. At that point, it's a little too late to start gaining experience to be the leader of the free world.
