BroadJump is software probably left over from when the Internet connection was setup, shouldn't be harmful.
The Intel Security Driver is software that helps the computer generate random numbers, usually used for cryptographic solutions (encrypting files, etc), doubt that would be causing any problems.
The stuff that ends with #'s are just updates from Microsoft, those should be ok.
If MS Antispyware won't install, you can download a trial of Webroot Spysweeper (
http://www.webroot.com/products/spysweeper/). Adaware and Spybot are two free spyware utilities that also work fairly well though you usually need both to catch most stuff.
If he doesn't have any anti-virus software you can install AVG or avast!, or if you want to just to a scan you can go to Trend Micro's site and they have a free web tool to scan the computer for viruses.
