How exactly does he belittle his audience? What show did you go to?

Fact of the matter is, you won't get any better value than Pearl Jam as far as rock shows go. Amazing live show, long sets, great musicianship, great songs, and a lead singer who has the balls to say what he feels instead of being a dancing monkey. If you don't like that, then yeah, Pearl Jam probably isn't for you.
