VIP wrist bands were white last year (or blue? I can't remember I was pretty drunk). I made one out of a cigarette pack turned inside out, and wandered over to that area set up stage right and walked right in. Easy peasy.
I had one of those passes to the second mini stage that was behind all the crowds, but all that got me was free rock band, and long beer lines.
