Put it this way, last year Stone temple Pilots was our big headliner (along with Tragically hip the second day), now lok at the Baltimore V-fest from 08.....

I went to Baltimore for this last year and it made the Calgary Virgin Fest look amateur. Amazing festival. The fact that you could drink anywhere just added to it.

On the other hand, they weren't able to put together good acts this summer in Baltimore, so they're having it at the Merriweather Post Pavilion and it's free. Blink 182 and Weezer are headlining.

Plus Pearl jam puts on a bit of a different show in festivals than their normal arena shows.

Pearl Jam was here in '93 and '05.
