Was going to comment something similar on The Edge as well but I know a ton of people love U2 and they definitely have the sales to back it up. Whatever you take out of 'sales'.
I actually really like Jack's style and some of his ideas on just simplifying music again, but it's definitely premature to mention him as hugely influential or anything along those lines, though the poster that said that already admitted that.
I as well would see this just for Page. Though like I mentioned originally Jack looks like he's a lot of fun in it, whatever you think of his music.
There's always going to be debate on who's at the top, or who is the biggest or 'best'. Whether you agree or not on just how big any of these three are, they are very good, and do have interesting ideas about music and rock. It still looks like it's going to be a fun and interesting movie.
I'm not a big 'opening day' guy though. I usually stick to cheap theaters and rentals. But I'll definitely do one of those for this one.
