The reason I love movies like these is probably why I hate movies like Spider-Man 2 so much. Don't give me a bunch of special effects with a paper-thin plot behind it and expect me to think its a good movie. Tell a great story and add in the effects later.

Ahh boo.... Spiderman 2 was most certainly not just about special effects. The story line is fantastic in my mine. I love the webbed wall crawler. Boo hiss boo.
