Aside from trying to figure out his guilt when it comes to child molestation:
I think Michael Jackson is a perfect example of how screwed up our society is when it comes to celebrity worship. We create the monster that we try to slay. We can't get enough of gossip and superficial news, we raise someone up and then we tear them to shreds at their first sign of vulnerability. Its a strange phenomenon, and I don't think anything points out how pathetically self-concious and hypocritical we are as people (as a whole), as how we relate to our celebrities.
