He didn't just bridge the gap betweem music styles. He create entire genres and bridged the color barrier as well. I'm sorry but the King of Pop has had more impact in the world than the King of Rock.

As far as singers/musicians I miss the most though, Michael Jackson doesn't even crack my top 5. Top of the list is probably either Freddie Mercury or Jimmy Hendrix.
