I honestly don't think this move will make them that much better but at least they are trying. I am not too sure what you would expect Cleveland to do. Stay with the same team? Go after which free agent? Try and trade for who?

Howard had everyone to dish to. That's the whole point of the Orlando offence. Dishing the ball to Lebron is fine, kind of the same deal.
I'll back off slightly and say that this is an upgrade for the Cavs, provided Shaq can stay healthy. To be honest, the Cavs don't have a lot of choices, with bad contracts like Szerbiack, Ilgauskas, etc. They need some time to develop shooters like Gibson, and hopefully land a PF like Boozer, who is a quick low post scorer/defender. Had they started this long term plan several years ago instead of continually handing out bad contracts to over-the-hill players, I'd say their team would be in a much better shape.
I hate the VC trade for the magic. They gave away their most promising prospect (Lee) for Vince. Their problem was that they didn't have anybody to create their own shot like kobe or Lebron could. I'm not convinced VC can do that anymore. I also think that this could mean Turkoglu isn't coming back, which is kind of sad as well.
