That's exactly how I look at this deal for the Cavs.

Sure they take on a one year deal of $21M for Shaq but they get rid of Wallace at $14M, Pavlovic at $5M(?) and a 46th pick is nothing in the NBA. So they add only an extra ~$2M in salary to get Shaq. All contracts are set to expire at the end of this season as well.

Rumor has Ben Wallace retiring and actually leaving the $14M on the table but I don't know how true that is. If they do the Suns gain a bit back in this trade.

Now the question is can Shaq stay healthy without the Suns trainers or does he somehow bring them with him?

I can tell you one thing Shaq and LeBron will have lots of fun this year.
