I'll weigh in again. I think fotze hit it right with the beginner/fast take. They aren't mutually exclusive. People who don't play ready golf piss me off. take some time before you actually get to your shot to think about what club you might use. if you and your buddy are sharing a cart, drop him off with his club and go to your ball and get ready to hit. I was playing in front of guys last weekend, and these two clowns had balls virtually side by side. One dude sat in the cart while the other guy hit. then he got out and lined up his shot. I nearly lost my marbles.


As for, playing from the right tees. I couldn't agree more. My buddies think playing from the whites is for pussies. I had to explain that playing from the whites at a real course (slope of over 125 from the blues) is too hard for us to play from the blues and we shoult play whites. Playing whites at Maple Ridge is not the same as playing whites at Silvertip.
