While it is an inherent factor of LCDs and different panel types can be better or worse, adjusting the settings can help performance. Why else would the new TVs, when labelling the inputs as PC or Gaming, have the TV automatically go into a setting that adjusts the TV for best response times by turning off the gadgetry and only allow some settings to be changed?
Having said that, it is a good idea to do some research on the TV you want to buy before the purchase and even than buy from a store that has a 30 day return policy.
Oh yeah, apologies to the OP as he probably already has the settings as the link to the review was in his opening post. I can be pretty dumb at times but I still stand by my statement that adjusting the settings can improve performance.
