So this season my friends and I decided to make a real go of playing golf on a regular basis. I went out and got a real set of clubs and decided to invest some time in playing (as opposed to the 10 9 hole rounds a year I usually play).

We have all subsequently become addicted to the sport. I can't stop thinking about playing and would probably play everyday if I didn't have to work.


That being said, we're starting to look for some decent courses at a good price. While city courses are a great value, they are near impossible to get on most weekends/evenings and frankly they get the job done but are nothing to write home about.

I've heard good things about D'arcy Ranch, Heatherglen, Heritage Pointe, and others, but was hoping this would be a good spot for people to share their golf experiences as well as perhaps discuss clubs/balls/apparel.

I'll put the first question out there. I noticed that Golf Town had some Nike ONE balls on sale 2 for 1. Problem is 12 Nike ONE balls costs about 50 bucks, so even on sale, you're looking at 2 bucks a ball. Has anyone found these to be remotely worth it? What about Titileist PROV1s?
