I didn't mean that divorce in and of itself is a selfish thing but the actions that lead up to it can make it inevitable are selfish.
Your sister's ex was a piece of crap who should haven't have been cheating in the first place. If he hadn't done that, maybe they could have resolved whatever issues they had and the kids would probably be better off. Now the kids have to deal with the fact that their father, who they must love because he's their father, is a selfish cheater.
