i guess it's just me, but I have no idea why anyone would want to live in Airdrie, it seems like the worst of both worlds. You're not in the city so you dont really get to utilize all the positives of a cosmopolitan city without driving everywhere, AND you also dont get the charm and peaceful nature of a small town, since Airdrie is more or less like any Calgary suburban community. There are no outstanding characteristics to set it apart.

I can see why somebody would want to live in say, Cochrane, since it has some charm, is close to the mountains, and is still a short drive from the city. But Airdrie, I don't get it.
