More than that. The 8GB 3Gs are going for $99 (qualified 3year terms only). The 16GB 3GSs are going for $199 for the same qualified 3 year term.
But the target market for the used 3G isn't to people who qualify for an upgrade, it's to people who don't qualify. So for them, the prices of the new phones are around the $600 mark.
At the very least, a white 16GB 3G iPhone with updated 3.0 software is worth $199 - although with the current prices listed on Kijiji (
astronomically high), and the current level of excitement, I can see $299 happening as well.
I've never really been known for trying to rip people off or scam a quick buck... so if I were to list mine, I'd think $199 would be a fair deal. If it didn't sell for that, then I'd just stuff it in a drawer and keep it as a back up.
