I got a quote for $2300 from an Oral Surgeon in Kelowna to take 4 of them out, and my plan only covers like 50% of that. Whereas the local guy here can do it for about $1300 and it will cost me like 560 out of pocket. The two bottom ones are going to be tough too as the roots are good and long and they're slightly embedded into the gums.

But times are tough and Pain is free so I'm going in without getting put out and taking 3 Ativan's first. I have serious anxiety about the dentist too, and the last time I had a crown done the freezing wore off during the proceedure while they were grinding the tooth down. It's going to suck worse than the economy.
