I'd be lying if I said the 3.0 update didn't take the piss out of the 3gs for me a little bit. I was always aware of what the differences were, but seeing all those changes had me drunk on upgrading. I still want to, but suddenly I find my complaints about the 3g cut in half.

One massive thing for me is genius. I absolutely adore it. I'm the kind of person that will download 10 really good albums but not give them a fair listening to. My itunes library is filled to the teeth with great albums I've never heard. Find a good song I like, throw on genius and suddenly i'm treated to hours of awesome music I already own but haven't discovered yet. Genius on an 8 gig iphone kinda blows for obvious reasons. A 32 gig iphone on the other hand ...
Fair enough. I've found myself listening to more podcasts than music these days. Maybe I'm getting too old.

The 3.0 updated definitely improved the 3G phone to the point where I won't be upgrading to the 3GS anytime soon.
