I can basically sum this decision up like this. Like many have mentioned, it's all about having fun with your buddies. If you're not gonna enjoy yourself, or at least give the impression your not enjoying yourself, the party's gonna be lame, and you're forever gonna be ripped about being gay (whether or not you are). Anyway, pick something you'd be comfortable everyone would be comfortable doing.
Just don't go lazertag and play doom. That's just lame.
