Yes they have.
You paid several hundred dollars for a product that has a 30 percent failure rate.
They are screwing you over.
That was enough for me to spend the extra couple hundred bucks for a ps3 that I have had 0 problem with, and have had 0 of the costs externalized on to me.
I simply do not understand why someone would knowingly spend several hundred dollars on something that they know will fail on them at some point, and that it is likely to fail within the first year of purchase.

You're GD right they did. That is the least they could do. Did they refund your month of xbox live that you missed out on? Did they give you any kind of apology incentive or gratuity?
Feels like I am piling on, so, sorry, but would you buy a TV that doesn't turn on 30 percent of the time, or a bed that breaks 30 percent of the time?
