I think the new Sharks GM has been put in the most difficult position of a new GM; he had to deal with a lot of high-end UFA's and needed to clear out a lot of cap space in order to have a decent team moving forward.
You've been able to address a lot of those issues and you got good returns on all of your players. Moving Pronger for Wheeler, Daley and Pardy are all nice pieces. Obviously you took a downgrade but Wheeler had a great rookie season and Daley continues to develop (a bit to my surprise).
Moving Frolov for Stafford and Marchand was a good move, you save some decent salary and get a player with good upside in Stafford back. Marchand is a solid prospect as well, so this move makes sense for both sides.
Moving Havlat for Plekanec + Downie is another good move for both sides. The Pens have a bit of cap room and Plekanec had a bit of a crap season but is still a solid player.
Overall, good job on all the moves...it'll help your team now and in the future.
