No amount of rain can possibly ruin camping for my girl and I. Whenever we roll, we put the topper on the Ranger and bring a big-ass battery and inverter. That way if the weather sucks too much for a tent, we just set-up in the back of the truck! And with power we can watch movies as well as boil water in a kettle for coffee.
Or keep a mini-bar powered the whole weekend, if I ever get one.
Generally, it hasn't rained for more than a few hours camping, which is more than enough time for a movie, game of chess, or just testing out my new shocks.
