I'm too lazy to look up the facts but apparently Ronaldo is in for some financial winfall from Real regardless. Something about 25 million he gets--maybe from the last time they were chasing him. I'll go look it up.
Here is a link to an article a few days ago with Real saying they are now turning their attention to Ronaldo. 80 million pounds mentioned--egads.

The 80 million is because Ronaldo supposedly has a buyout clause that kicks in if he can bring in 75 million in a transfer fee.
