Of course they need a player better then Evans, most of us are just commenting on this trade specifically. Kapono was trash and Evans at least has some hope of contributing to the Raps next year. I don't think anyone is on their knees praising Colangelo, this was an ok move but it has to followed up by much better moves if the Raptors are going to be a playoff team next season.
