i quote the retired blind dude:
'he's been rotting in the can for twenty or thirty years'
he'd never seen his sons, and not until they were captured and he could see their tatoos / hear the prayer did he know they were his sons.
also - the story at the start, that must be aboot their mother, right?
|
no I think their mom's alive because somewhere on there it said that she had a few scences and was supposed to narrate the story, but they wound up deleting most of her scences and felt it wasn't necessary for her to be in the story.
|
so why did the priest stop the visiting speaker from objecting when the brothers interrupted a sermon to kiss the statue?
the only explanation i can come up with is that it's their story, their remembrance of their mother - kitty, was it?
|
That wasn't a story about their mother. THat was a true story about a woman that was brutally murdered outside her apartment and no one called for help or went out to help her.
I am not sure why the priest let them go up there and kiss the statue though... [/b][/quote]
yeah that part would of made more scense if it was at the end of the movie, because they would have let them do it out of respect, and thinking that they were going out to kill more mafia. Because it catholic church thats a big no-no.
