I figured I'd chime in as someone who spends a considerable amount of time volunteering with them.

Are teenagers Idiots?

Abso-fataing-lutely. No question, argument over, yes, teenagers are idiots, but it doesnt make them evil. Its all about how you interact with them. As a soccer coach I like to initiate and maintain a culture of absolute fear.

The guys that I deal with are pretty good, generally, but I also deal with them in a very limited capacity for a very short period of time.

The thing that I hate is: "Arent they such great kids!?!?"

What? Sure, for the 2 hours that I have to deal with them they're freaking angels, because if they werent I'd cuff them and roll their corpse into the nearest ravine.

They're probably as bad or worse than every other kid whenever they're away from their parents.
