The disc read error is the reason I barely ever play my 360. I have a model that is 3-4 years old and some games (NHL 08) would constantly freeze in certain game modes.
It's unacceptable really, how their system is almost unplayable, due to errors on their end. I remember playing Oblivion on 360, and you could hear the disc drive stop spinning so you would have to frantically try and save before the dirty disc error message came up.
