so, do i always like fire pits? No, but i'm responsible and adult enough to know that you can't always have your way. Or at least that complaining about it isn't always the best way to go. That and i don't want to be a hypocrite. for everything that someone else does that i don't like, such as their little noisy kids, fire pits, cutting their lawn at 8am, i'm sure i also do things they don't like, such as listening to my music really loud, smoking pot on my deck, partying late, having a fire pit etc. In the end it all evens out.
